Completely renovated with craftsmanship IP 24

Listing renovation:

comfortable IP 24 for sale. From 2015-2017, all wooden parts were professionally removed and sprayed with high quality 2k paint in 12 coats to a fully sealed high gloss!

All removable elements were unscrewed and triple sealed with Sikaflex.

The sanding frames were removed refurbished and reattached.

The deck has been put with intermediate sanding is a completely new paint texture with 2K filler coat (2x), 2K primer coat (2x), 2K color coat (2x) and 2K clear coat (2x ). New non-slip paint. The high gloss painted ceiling interior paneling has been expertly screwed together (brass). Underneath is now a 9 mm self-adhesive, seawater-resistant Armaflex insulation from Armstrong, closed-cell rubber. This means no condensation under the ceiling!

All screws have been replaced and sealed, some stainless steel, some classic countersunk screws in brass/bronze. Most of the bronze deck hardware has been replaced (top light). All fittings have been resealed and polished. Polished winches and position lights of untreated bronze/copper, polished windows, polished bronze fittings. All mooring lines have been replaced with classic lines (top light). All covers, main cover, bow hatch cover, compass cover are new. Some embroidered/printed with names. New upholstery and cushions in salon. Floor and stairs newly painted, high gloss.

New railing rope aft on both sides with pelican hooks and railing supports. New teak floor laid in salon and toilet and high gloss painted interior. Headroom inside approx. 1.80m.

New shore connection with 2x220V sockets has been installed. Fully automatic battery charger. Long shore connection cable new, . New cabling in the mast. New cable entry in deck. All gas lines and screw connections replaced. 2 gas cylinders.

Water lines and fittings renewed. 2-burner gas stove, sink. Cutlery drawer, double base cabinet, new pull-out cabinet under bench. New cold water sink mixer from Hansgrohe/Axor, water tank approx. 80l, electric. New pump system.

Pump toilet was replaced by porta potty.

All lighting (navigation, deck, interior) is now LED.

Two classic brass oil lamps available. Position lights and surround light renewed in brass (top light).

Sails as good as new, undamaged, little used, renewed in 2006. Jib and jib with furling system. Newly installed brass forestay rider.

Mast (approx. 7.50m) was renewed in 2012 and consists of 2 complete halves! New paintwork in 2017 and hardware renewed in stainless steel. Boom shear painted.

Gaff completely new in 2018 including specially made stainless steel fittings. Gaffelklau leather new.

Osmosis treatment in 2006. Underwater hull new 2018. Sacrificial anodes all new.

Engine (brine, 17 hp, 2 cylinder diesel new in 1998, hardly used, very reliable, maintained annually by yard! Consumption approx. 2-2,5 l/h, tank 40l plus reserve tank 20l. 2 bilge pumps: 1x electric, 1x manual engine overhaul, cylinder head gasket new in 2018.

"POTVIS", is a special massive sailboat with classic crack, round frame, pointed port, long keel and has ship character thanks to the all high-quality wooden interior and striking rigging. This makes it special in its class. Suitable for sea and coastal use, not a racer but a safe sailor, but offers relatively large storage and sleeping space for up to 6 people. Ideal for 1-4 people. Even in bad weather it is cozy and comfortable inside. A very stable sailor with typical sailing characteristics. Because of the shallow draft ideal for the Frisian lakes, coast and Wadden Sea (supports available). The classic gaff rigging makes it a little more demanding, but also easy to sail with one hand. All halyards can be operated from the cockpit. Largely renewed.

Traditional teak wooden helm with engraving and emergency tiller. Teak swim ladder. Teak flagpole. Navigation star on jib, flagmast head and nameplate 24krt gold plated.

All in all a very beautiful, well maintained and lovingly renovated, stylish boat that is second to none and with proper care guarantees years of boating pleasure into old age. A unique specimen with distinctive character and exceptional space at only 7 meters! The high cockpit makes sitting in the cockpit very comfortable.

An amazing amount of space where you will not believe you are on a 7.10 m cutter, plus a jib. Even day trips under engine are possible for up to 8 people. Diesel consumption is around 2 liters per hour.

Complex electronics on board were deliberately avoided in the renovation. This makes it very maintenance friendly and not prone to repairs.

Plotter/radio can be retrofitted, cable lines available, as well as for 2nd radio at the helm. 2x12V USB power connection at steering position, 1x12V connection in saloon. 2x220v sockets new.

All parts have been carefully and professionally renovated to maintain charm and character.
